Giant Pick Up Sticks
Pickup sticks have always been a fantastically fun game that all the family can enjoy on a rainy day at the dining room or living room table.
The idea of the game is simple, but the game tests the skill and control of the players. Each player takes turns to remove a stick from the pile without moving or dislodging the rest of the pile.
Here at Garden Games we looked at this rainy day game and thought why can’t this be a sunny day garden game? After all everyone can enjoy this game and what a brilliant addition to any gathering this would be but, the game was far too small and needing our special touch. From this simple idea Giant Pickup Sticks was born.
Since its launch Giant pick sticks has proved to be an extremely popular line. The idea of the game is the same and players are still challenged but, perhaps more so as the larger size on the Giant pickup Sticks make them harder to remove without dislodging the neighbouring sticks. Players now need to remove pickup sticks that measure 3ft that’s an amazing length of just under a metre for each Giant Pickup Stick, from a pile of 30 brightly coloured sticks.
The Giant Pickup sticks in this brilliant fun garden game are brightly painted in blue, yellow, red, green and black. Each colour has its own point’s value adding an edge to the game play. The Sticks are all sanded to make them smooth to the touch.
